Anyhow, before I leave for Bakersfield, a quicky entry on Travel Town...
I took about 100 pix today for Travel Town. It was various pix of volunteers (including kids) cleaning the inner and outer parts of the train, Girl Scouts giving tours, and even volunteers setting up for the bbq. It was loads of fun! I also met up w/ some A Phi O Bros from Cal State L.A. The more I miss my undergrad days. Nancy, the lady in charge, and I were talking about volunteer work, and there's an award for post grads where if you clock in 50 hours of volunteer work, I could get some award where I get a pin and a certificate signed by the President. That'd be so cool plus it'd look good on my resume. Overall, I had an amazing time helping out at Travel Town, and I look forward to doing more work there whether I take pix or out of nowhere decide to clean and maintain the trains displays. :)
I'd have pix posted, but they are pretty much property of Travel Town. However, I may take a few random pix I took (sans people) and post them later on a friends locked entry.
