[+] I've got a looooot of think-y, fangirl thoughts but I am 100% exhausted. We had my cousin's baby shower today. I'm happy for her and excited about the baby, but I am just not good at those things. First of all, it always feels like these things slip my mind until the last second, so I'm always, like, running out to Target and writing the card in the car on the way. This time, I'm the godmother of this baby, and I bought his high chair but that was already delivered to the house, so when she opened up the bag of little books, I feel like people side-eyed me for being cheap. I know, I'm being sensitive. But I feel like the other women in my family are just good at that stuff, and walked in with all of these Pinterest-y looking gift baskets full of All The Stuff, and there's boring old Auntie Ashleigh, with Books.
