[+] Gosh, I hate working late. We had a 'Ladies Night' event last night, where I did mini-facials. We've done these before, but this one was smaller, and very little attendance because you can barely drive down the street in Boston. It's usually like an open house event, but there was literally an hour when there was no one here at all, and I kind of had to restrain myself from scooping my eyeballs out. And then in the last hour, three women came in, all happy to be out of the house, away from their kids and they were pouring wine and settling in and I was like...no...no...no. So I got out of there at like 10:30.
Curious, given the choice, do you prefer to work earlier or later?
[+] It's been a while since I've had something to say about this one.
This season has been...okay, right? Like, it seems much more like unconnected episodes, more 'situational comedy'. And I *know* that it can't be Back and Forth, Nick and Jess for the whole series. I wouldn't want that. But you guys, I got so many feelings last night when Nick came into the bar and Jess was dancing over to him, and he had this look on his face like...so damn in love.
This song works so well for Nick...and you can consider this my BETH GREENE mention of this post.)
And I was squeezing Michael's hand before Nick actually spoke because I was 100% sure that his girlfriend had said that she was pregnant. And we are not ready for that.
So, basically, Nick and Jess punched me in my shipper bone again last night, and New Girl made me Feel for the first time in a long time.
[+] I forgot to mention when I was talking about Glee in my last post, that I was delighted to no end to see Max George as the lead singer of Vocal Adrenaline (with hair. And the most adorable in-and-out American accent. And actual *emotion* in the end.) And then I went and youtubed the Warblers' version of Glad You Came from way back when and look:

You GUYS. That is Grant Gustin, aka The Flash, as the lead singer of The Warblers. And dancing.
And I want an Arrow/The Flash crossover MUSICAL episode like burning now. They all sing! (I don't know if Stephen Amell sings.) But between Grant, John Barrowman, Emily Bett Rickard, Colton Haynes, Willa Holland and Colin Donnell (ghost, flashback, whatever), this can be AWESOME.
WHO'S WITH ME.
