So today started out with the house losing power for an hour. (For no discernible reason.) Oh joy. Pity it didn't last a few more minutes, we'd almost made it out the door for a restaurant breakfast!
This weekend held some marathon-paced decorating and sewing (I AM the pillow-cover-making QUEEN!), an evil gift idea for Melissa (which I generously did NOT do) and a mildly entertaining neighborhood cookie swap (Only complaint? YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO MAKE COOKIES, PEOPLE!).
In other news, it's been a 8 days since the contractor working on our chimney has touched it (and boy is my Dad pissed!) and there have been some large unexpected orders for Christmas...what, you ask? You'll have to wait til the 25th!!!
