Leila's technique for SAVING and MAKING money: avoid riding the bus to work. Instead, ride your bike...this way, not only do you NOT spend unnecessary money, you get your daily exercise...AND if you hook a plastic bag over your handlebars and pick up soda cans on the way to and from...you can MAKE more than monthly interest earned off of your checking account. XD (I'm only semi-serious...but it's all sadly true)
So...I see lots of interesting stuff on my bike rides.
There was this cute little shuttle for the children's hospital, used for (I assume) transporting family for visits. It's painted with pictures of multicultural children smiling and being cute. There were four windows with different words and a different kid in each.
DETECT...OPERATE...FIX...SPINE.
...spine?
...um, okay...the first three make sense. Verbs for things hospitals do. Why does the sequence end with a body part?? >____<
It's a hospital with lots of things it's known for. It doesn't specialize in just spinal injuries. Whose bright idea was it to end a verb sequence with a NOUN??
If it was up to me, I would have ended it with "REHABILITATE" or "HEAL."
Chalk it up to another moment of failure.
Wish I could have gotten a picture.
EDIT: Upon further reflection...I sincerely hope the last word said "INSPIRE" (instead of "SPINE") and that my imagination conjured up something insane out of boredom.
wtf,
fail,
absurd
