"Great" Day
I woke up this morning wearing really cumfy clothes that smelled great :) I felt really good. Got up and printed my passport and out of fluke Dan called... so I rushed to get my picture taken... rushed home... made sure everything was signed... and then Dan and I left.
Got to Kitchener... it was absolutely pouring out... parked pretty far away from the building because Dan wasn't sure exactly where to go... got half way there and realized I forgot my purse... went back (completely soaked by this time because we didn't bring the umbrella)... got my purse and carried the umbrella.
Got into the building... Dan picked his up no problem but my pictures weren't correct (I was showing the smallest amount of teeth imaginable.. but it still wasn't accpetable... ugh) Rushed to shoppers (in the rain) got new pictures done (looking like a drowned rat) then rushed back (the office closed at 430... we got there at 330... ugh! Got in and everything was good...
The drive home... after laughing about the day so far.... was not good. Dan was kind of into the Tanglefoot that was playing and accidentally rear ended an suv....(don't tell him I told you) No damage to the other car, but he now has a lovely hole in his bumper.... I tried to tell him... I yelled at him 3 times... it still happened in slow motion....
Add to this that I was supposed to pick up Vickie from work at 4.... I did call and leave her a message so she went home instead of waiting for me... I'm so terrible!!! We got back to Brantford.... I got in my car and went to get Vickie... this was about 6pm... we were going to do Aquafit but we were both tired and not in the mood for more dampness after spending the day wet as it was... so we went to Oxford Circus for dinner... my treat to apologize! Dinner was great! Then we made brownies and had tea at home. Made 1 drawstring skirt which turned out to be too long for her... not to worry... I was going to make another anyway....
Drove her home... and the icing on the cake for the day!! I hit a raccoon... and killed it... I tried to stop... I tried to swerve... but it ran one way and then turned around and ran under my car... WHY???? I felt so bad....
So... all in all... a wonderful day! I think I'll go huddle in bed reading a book where nothing bad can happen!
