shakespeare!
So I've obviously been missing Harlaxton lately. I dreamt about it the other night... sort of. Wanna hear the strangeness? Hopefully you do because you don't have a choice. This dream took place around "Harlaxton" except it didn't look anything like the actual Harlaxton. A bunch of different events occurred which had no relation to one another for the most part. In one part, I was kissing Taylor and all of a sudden he pulled back. I noticed that he was crying and asked why. He started off the same way he would have in real life, "I can't..." but continued it saying, "I can't come out of the closet." He just kept saying that over and over. And in the dream, I was thinking, "Wow, I guess everyone was right to think he was gay after all!" But I didn't say that, I just hugged him.
In another part of the dream, I accidentally slept through my 8AM Shakespeare final. I was determined to find Glitz and convince him to let me take the exam anyway. All of a sudden, he shows up in my room with about 20 other people I didn't know and starts teaching us this "authentic German dance" which has an uncanny resemblance to the Conga. He teaches us a song to sing as we dance as well. When I'm next to him, I notice he's singing different words (and actually a different tune too) and I ask why. He tells me it's the "German version" of the song. Which makes no sense because it was an entirely different song! Strange, strange dream.
Speaking of Shakespeare, I get to see a production of Julius Caesar tonight. Every year, they have Shakespeare in the Park (Forrest Park) and I'm going! I haven't been in several years, so hopefully it'll be good. But I'm going with friends and it's free so if nothing else that'll make it a good night.
