Back home from Portland, I had a good time and had some amazing food. I'm doing my photography project on the food carts and quirky food on Portland, so I got some cool photos. I hope everyone had a good New Years, mine was pretty mellow. Mum and I went to an early showing of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and then out to dinner afterwards. It has officially been one week at school and I've had every class except for one (life drawing). So far so good... only thing is that I have about 10 assignments due or to be worked on. I'm in absolute agony with my back. This is the worst its been in years and I can barely walk, move or do anything for that matter. The best part? American Gods may be a mini series on HBO. HBO + Neil Gaiman (with possible Tom Hanks) = FUCKING AWESOME! A co-worker and I both love Neil Gaimen and we had discussed that one movie wouldn't do justice to the book but a mini series would be best. When I first read AG it quickly became one of my all time faves.
