You'll be happy to know that the US government is actively working on things to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the country on July 4th, 2026. Or at least so I'm lead to believe based on the memorandum of understanding between the Small Gubm'nt Agency and the "Semiquincentennial Commission" that I just got for legal review.
