Apparently, my grandfather's surprise birthday party is on SATURDAY at noon, not SUNDAY, like I was originally told by my genious of a father. That means that we have to be in Whitewater, WI by 11:30am... which means that we have to leave here by 9:30am... which means I will have to be up getting ready by the ungodly hour of 8 in the morning. *Groan* The party is an all day thing, so we'll be staying there for the night, probably at the farm or maybe (if I'm lucky!) with my cousins there in Whitewater. It will be nice to see everyone since (other than Jen and my grandparents) I haven't seen them at all since Christmas vacation. But, the thing is, I really don't want to go! Its his 80th, and so EVERYONE is invited, meaning it will be overcrowded and boring for anyone under the age of 30. I'd rather just take him out to lunch with a few people. That would be so much better than a huge gathering. Plus, its at a party room in a resturant out in the middle of nowhere, USA, so there won't be anything to do. I cringe just thinking about it. Sunday will be more of the same, until eventually my mother decides to come back here. I would stay home... but its his birthday! I can't do that. So. There goes my entire weekend.

I'm hoping that Celia, Stacy, Jen, and I (maybe the others too, and maybe Natalie) can escape for a few hours and go to Janesville, a city thats about half and hour away. If we go to the mall, then I might be able to see Alexa! (She works at American Eagle.) That would be worth the boredom... I haven't seen her since her last day in Spain, way back on July 2nd, almost a month before I came home. Has it really been that long? Wow...

...Have I mentioned lately how much I miss Spain? Gah. Back to the 200 point paper I'm trying to write...

friends, spain, family
