Why the fuck do the french have so many verb endings for one tense?

Only got, past, future, conditional, imperfect, plus perfect and perfect to go. Thats roughly 130 verb endings to memorise for Monday.

Today I had my first experience of extreme road rage. I was on the roundabout and some dick in a white van pulled out in front of me. Then he started laughing. Had to fuckin break so hard.
