;) I love your page for Eowyn's Funeral Raiment... That looks like some very mighty helpful info, and lots and lots of hard work and research! Those templates! I can imagine it's necessary to have loads of space to actually print that velvet... And then, there's the embroidery... What a project! (Yes... It is true... costumers are obsessed... ;)

It's a healthy obsession... most of the time. ;)

It really is difficult to print 10+ yards of velvet that has to be dried overnight when two small dogs and a psychotic cat see fabric layed out on the floor as an open invitation to lounge. We don't have any space big enough for all of the fabric to dry without having little animal paw prints all over it. :D I'll figure out something eventually, after I find out where my LOTR sewing muse has gone...

You know, I would hug you and squeeze you and love you forever if you did Eowyn's Funeral Gown and Mantle. I'm certain it would be stunning, like everything else you make. :) And you already have the pattern... ;D

Oh, do I know how that is... We have three cats, and it's impossible for me to do anything with fabric layed out without them thinking I'm making them something to play with and lay on... or run through, or bite... ;)

You know... I don't think I had put Eowyn's Funeral Gown and Mantle on my to do list... but it's there now, after doing the Green Gown... I can't help it, I just love the pattern, (and yep, I have it, too... always a plus...) and as I studied the Green Gown, there were those shots of Ngila showing the gown, with the Funeral Gown right next to it... I just LOVE the trim on that mantle... So, although til now it may have gone unsaid, this one's on my do-list... ;) And I like hugs, squeezes and love! ;D

Oh yay yay yay!

So I don't know how far down on your list this one is, but have you decided if you're going to print the velvet or not? And how are you thinking to do the mantle trim... just find something gorgeously similar from Heritage Trading?

Bouncy bouncy bouncy! *waits impatiently*

Ah, I've seen the trim you've bought for Eowyn's Starry Mantle and I do like it a lot. Gorgeous! I guess it depends on the look you're going for. :)

I need to use up the fabric stash too AND finish all of the things I've already started, but it's nice to make fiend-ish future plans. ;)

It's always the little detail things, like beads and zippers and thread, that start to add up. The fabric itself may be a decent price but with everything else you need on top of that... *sigh*

I know you're Mirror Gown will be lovely. Are you going to use the same pattern from your LBG?
