Random Rambling
OK, just to kind of think out loud, it has been crossing my mind so often lately how females don't see themselves for who they really are. Obviously not every girl has a distorted self perception, but so many do. Like honestly I wish so badly people could see how other people saw them for just one day. Though, yes, that could be bad, I feel like so many people judge themselves so unfairly, it is impossible to live up to our own standards.
Then, no-one understands why so many girls just do shit with random guys or other things that we see as "bad" or "wrong". The whole realization that we are equal and deserve to be treated that way, has become completely lost. Having a guy tell you that you are pretty, and he is happy seems to be the only way to prove success. Personal satisfaction and happiness seem to have vanished in importance.
I doubt anyone is going to understand what I am saying, it is just driving me crazy that for some reason it is now "understood" that girls are worthless unless you can physically or overtly point out otherwise.
LOL I think this whole epiphany is due to my interest in Sybil, which we are watching in psychology. I am realizing that so many people go though the same situations and just deal with them completely differently. I wonder what makes some people so self confident, and others totally afraid; and what makes people crazy, and others successful and happy. Does it matter? Why can't we all just forget all the bad stuff that bother us, get over it, and be as successful as is personally possible?
Yea.... just a lot of thinking out loud. Tonight, wonderful nice and needed girls night with Jess and Jenny, yea they're the greatest lol. Jess and my mom got tight haha, we always have so much fun doing the most random shit. What great talks tonight, what a great night lol.... tomorrow Jeremy's birthday whole family over, then six flags with Nat and Heather! So Excited!
BTW, jeremy is going to be on some SPIKE TV show, for the Kentucky Derby May 3. They are flying him there, and he is competing with anther group of guys and some celebs for prizes.... sound exciting, he is really happy about it.
