[She sounds meek, afraid, and trying desperately to hide the fact that she's foreign.]

Does anyone know the path in the forest? The big forest, the one that heads into the hills? I lost my traveling companion some ways back. My brother. We got separated when something spooked his horse real bad, and now he's in the woods somewheres. He's all I got, my brother. We're heading to see our cousins because the cholera got our folks. It's okay, we're not sick.

Did you see him? Is he in your town? Tall. Straight nose. Black hair. Real fine-looking. If you see him, tell him I'm looking for him. All I got, my brother. I'll be fine though, I'm just going to stay on this road. I can ride real well.

I hope there aren't bears out there.

[Filtered to any of Coyo's *ahem* associates/less-than-savory characters]

The fort. How many soldiers? How many guns? The sheriff. The marshals. How many? Are they good?

Did anybody bother to look?

Anyone been to this town yet? Saloon, yes. Bank? Stores? Many stores? Anyone worth any money?

Anyone know anything?

[ooc: Coyolxauhqui is Jaime Jimenez, "famous" bandit from down Mexico way. Rumor has it that she's some big, burly dude who kills men, steals their money, and then carries off their wives. It's quite possibly true, except for the being a dude part.

The filter is open to any outlaw or known criminal, especially the ones she's traveling with (but not excluded to them), and feel free to spam the post if you think your character's hanging around her camp...or likely to stumble on it. She's still waaaaay outside of town.]

get me out of this afterlife, flood, fail in modesty
