so basically i never update this
but now i will as i have a lot of very important procrastination work to do! i have to write an 8-10 page research paper for my geography class, and somehow, even though i have almost 12 pages of notes for said paper, the thought of writing 8 pages is kind of daunting. (i don't know what my problem is... i wrote a 15 page research paper in spanish when i was in bsas. gooo self)
um yeah so life is good. classes are fine... i have a love-hate relationship with chemistry because its interesting and a lot of fun but also a lot of work, i have a hate-hate relationship with geography because the course is really disempowering and not at all interesting (memorize what the prof says and spit it back), the women's studies senior sem is pushing me a lot, which i wanted it to do but of course its hard work. (we are just finally making our way into bodies and fluid identities which seem to make us so nervous on a socio-cultural level) and gender and disability is pretty much awesome even though people can say some pretty messed up shit in class.
i'm excited for thanksgiving and all the good food, as well as a few days to hang out, relax, and oh yeah, do some homework. i'm also excited for winter break and all the awesomeness that will ensue: some time in LA with my sis and her fam, some time causing trouble in the Twin Cities, and some time skiing up in the Porkies. w00t.
as for the rest of today... work on paper, go for a short run, work on paper, see Cirque de Soleil (!!) and have nummy thai food for dinner, work on paper some more... yeah.
so... procrastination...
