end of the semester procrastination!
um yeah so (good thing i start most of my entries with some variant of that phrase) ...
i have this conflicting viewpoints presentation to give for my women's studies capstone seminar - i have to pick an issue and represent two different sides of it - basically debating myself for 10 minutes. i finally decided to go with whether or not a state should mandate the HPV vaccine, and what the implications of that decision might be. it was interesting to research and write once i finally figured out how i wanted to frame it, but that took a while.
now i'm trying to finish it up and i'm looking at the assignment sheet and wondering if i followed it closely enough. my gut feeling is no, but at the same time i think i'm doing my presentation like most of the other students in the class (yeah if they jumped off a bridge i'm sure i'd be right there with them)
so i am conflicted... i don't want to do tons more work on this but i also don't want to get a crappy grade. w00 procrastination.
in other random news: Jenny i drempt i ran into your parents in some monastery in Thailand the other night - it was totally random. i was there on some kind of exchange program and i think your dad might have been there to teach. who knows.
