yes, i thought that they were going to reopen lake shore drive at six and i was going home at 8:30, so i headed north, only to be shunted off at oakwood, over to state street. which was painfully slow. i think that i saw more policemen tonight on that trip home than i have in the entire rest of my life put together. i passed by one protest march accompanied by i can't tell you how many cops on bikes.
i believe that it's supposed to be normal tomorrow--here's hoping.
