it's december and it's 56F/13.33C out. gray, not yet raining, but rain predicted for later on today.

if i go to the market and people are throwing fish about, i'll know that i've somehow had my house moved and dropped in the pacific northwest.

that's more than three inches.

(it's snowing outside and 2-3 inches was predicted, but i don't think anyone told the snow that.)

there is a smattering of snow on the tops of roofs and on the grass and already i can't bear the thought of winter. i think that last year wore out my winter tolerance (and i assure you, i used to have a winter tolerance) for possibly the next decade.

it snowed. not a lot, but enough that there is snow on the ground and on the roof.

it's april 20th. almost an entire month into spring. 20 days into baseball season.

i guess i should be grateful that snow doesn't make basements flood, right?

my co-worker, lisa, found this and thought of me. it was at a theater about which neither of us knew anything so we just sort of took a chance. all i knew was that it was not hamlet, but it was a new play based on hamlet where they had gender-flipped the hamlet. which one might deduce from the title ( Read more... )
