Ok, this weekend has been absolutely crazy!
So, because I feel like I haven't been able to sit down, you get to read 3 posts from me tonight!
Day 23: your reverse bucket list.
At first when I saw this prompt, I was super confused. I know what a bucket list is, but I had never heard of a reverse list. Well, as it turns out a reverse list is a list of items you have accomplished in your life. This list is in no particular order... I am writing them down as they come to me. So here goes nothing:
- Get accepted to college
- Graduate college
- Travel to Canada
- Go to Disney World
- Survive the death of a parent.
- Wrote a letter to a famous person and got a response back (I was in middle school and we had to write letters to people. I chose to write to James Galway and was one of the last people to get a letter back. I got a hand-written response and an autographed picture).
- Sit next to a celebrity (I met Peter Fonda when in the airport in Bozeman, MT, but we didn't know it was him until later)
- Fly on a plane without an adult
- Adopt a pet
- Ride a train to go on vacation
- Visit Gettysburg (and several other Civil War battle sites)
- Stand at the headwaters of the Mississippi and go to the delta
- Graduate in the top 10% of my high school class
- Volunteer at church
- Start a blog
- Raise money for cancer research
- Walk in Relay for Life
- Learn multiple languages
This journal post is a work in progress. I plan to keep adding to it as I think of things, or as I check items off my list.
