it's actually still better than the one where Pi is all cruel and abusive to innocent Kame and Jin, I am assuming, Jin eventually heals Kame with the healing light of his etc.

I read that and thought, 'well, at least it's better than the fic where Pi pretty much rapes Kame in a toilet stall'. It is so unfair that pretty much all the Pi/Kame fic out there sucks so much.

it drives me CRAZY because it really could be SO AWESOME and yet these damn kids are doing it wrong.

there, if I was in charge of allowing people to fic for anything, you would have to pass a strong test in Reading Things Besides Fanfic and Romantic Comedies of the Forties: This Is Dialogue Done RIGHT and I know I get cranky about it.

It could be totally awesome! I mean, Pi/Kame is a pairing with a lot of potential for all sorts of nifty fic! And, well, pretty people getting on each other is awesome when the fic doesn't suck. Instead, it's hardly ever written and when it is it's almost always terrible.

My only consolation is that at least there isn't as much horrifyingly OOC crapfic as there are for some other pairings.

It's a completely normal thing to get cranky about, I feel.

I just need to suck it up and watch 7-10 of Nobuta, because everybody is like, It will break your heart! IT IS SO AWESOME. Your heart will be broken! and I am understandably reluctant to have to get enough chocolate and tissues put together to watch it. And then I can write a lot of Shuuji and Akira fic, that will cheer me up.

Yes, but the OOC crapfic is EXTREMELY OOC AND CRAPPY.

See! We should write up a test. We could have required hours of Cary Grant movies and Kathleen Hepburn pictures and screwball comedies in general.
