I ended up getting Lost Boys for the Nook -- the translation, as far as I could tell without having read it in the original, was pretty okay, but the scans DMP had made the file from were super light and so on the e-ink screen it was an exercise in eyestrain, sigh. I'm pretty sure it was the scans' fault, because the ads at the end with the darker pen work looked fine, but that writer is one of those who does the real delicate lines and stuff. It looks better on the desktop reader, except it wants me to update EVERY. FIVE. SECONDS, which I can't because it won't believe I have admin privileges and I haven't been arsed to go figure this out in WINE.
As for the plot ... well, it's a shounen-ai version of Peter Pan, except at the end the author is like, And I'm sure you all are shrieking WHERE IS THE YAOI :D;;;;;. Which, no lie, the main couple would have been a little creepy, but the side story was that-version pirate captain and his first mate, both grownups, and they STILL did nothing below the waist.
Anyway, you guys are welcome, I did it alllll for you. I can't keep a straight face saying that. I wish I could justify getting more of them but ai, eight dollars for things that are hard to see?
I got home today and we randomly decided to make the main living areas look like actual humans lived there instead of wolves, so that was interesting. It looks pretty nice now, so now we're going to work on our rooms and getting rid of some of our excess clothes.
...we said that, and Teefury is having a Calvinball shirt tomorrow. OH WELL.
