Alcohol Abuse Prevention Day
For some reason, the mere mention of alcohol makes meetings more interesting. I mean, we all fell asleep in Fire Safety and the Phys Plant tour (despite the fact that we were standing the whole time), but the Party Control-type meeting yesterday, which stressed alcohol use/nonuse, and the Alcohol safety meeting today was kinda fun, actually.
We did service projects today. Now, normally, I am kind of irritated with the concept of forced volunteering, but we got to go blueberry picking! And donate the blueberries to the food bank. At least, we did until Nancy started throwing them at me. It was cool.
The HONS are coming today! I saw Betsy already, and I guess Virada and Adrienne will be here by now.
And mia mia is here. That's one good thing for making me feel more at-Smith. (as in, at-home at Smith.)
My feet are suffocating! I have been wearing sandals for two weeks and have sneakers on today. Grrr. unhappy feet. At least they don't have to walk through snow.
Oochie moving into UMass tomorrow! temp housing anyway. I wonder when Liz will be here.
