My hobby involves getting up early and painting craft foam with paint or glue before work and then more when I get home from work. I spend most of the hours in between picking glue or paint out from my fingernails.

the bad kind of waiting
My cat is missing. He never goes near the road. When it's this cold, he barely goes away from the house. But he went out at 8am and never came back, and that probably means only one thing. My guess is that in this weather, the coyotes are probably pretty hungry.
Kitty came back after 3 days, so it's too early to panic. But I know the odds.

The thought of having real benefits like health insurance and vacation days (I do have insurance right now, but now through my employer, and it doesn't cover much) and a reliable source of income is incredibly appealing. Because of the nature of the business, my employer has multiple workplaces. Previously, I was working in two of those, and now I'm working in 3. The first two are under the same director, so there's no real problem there. The third is partially separate, but they needed another body, and I needed hours, so my supervisor recommended me. roller coaster days
Yesterday I might have broken my toe (it looks a little better this morning, so maybe it's just brilliantly bruised. But still very, very painful) and I also lost my mp3 player (it *really* should be in my living room. But I cannot find it anywhere). Megan, you have only ONE thing you have to do today. ONE. Many things you could do to be productive, but only one thing that you swore to yourself you would get done today, unlike all those other days. All you have to do is update your resume.
