Went out with Hilary today and had a great time. We went to get travel coffees, hit the antiques mall (I have a new crafty idea :D and I got a small pressie for Chris - he will laugh, that will make my day). It has been a hamster-y week in the house of Lavender Jones. On the 1st (early am on the 2nd) Bunny came in and woke me at 3:30am because her hamster Peaches was having trouble breathing. Until that night Peaches - despite being over 2 years old - was the perkiest hamster we had, so it was hard to watch the next 30 minutes. We held her as she died ( Read more... )

I finally got up to bed and remembered that I had forgotten to fill the piggies' water bottle, so I came down and did that and went to leave the room, saw Joey looking at me so I took him out to get a treat of some lettuce.
