Swimming was the order of the day, especially as I packed my bag last night and had no other exercise shorts in there. Got out late, again... the biggest part of this, though, is clearing frost. PNBWife has offered to clear her own car, but this is one of those manly things I do to prove myself as a husband (more to myself than anything.) Besides, it's the only chore that only I do.
But, in spite of getting there late, I got in about 20 minutes of swimming time, and managed about 8 minutes in the hot tub. My arms are still tired, as I used my legs a lot less than my arms today. Today the hot tub was actually pretty hot. It's got a timer dial on it, and I guess that maybe last time it hadn't been turned on that long last time. Soooooothing.
Again no bleeding today. Funny, I bought
these Band-Aid brand bandages the other day, which stated that they were 100% waterproof and that the adhesive, "stays on until you want it off." I used one today, just in case. It worked well, right until the soap from my shower touched it. Then it slid off and wouldn't re-stick. :( Considering that last time it was the drying-off that was the problem, I can't say I think well of this. But I'm stuck on these... not because they stick on me, but because they were about four dollars for ten of them. And I can't afford to replace them this week. In their defense, though, I will say that it stuck very well the whole time I was in the pool, hot tub, and showering off the chlorine.
Now, onto the weight...
345.4 Pounds
2.8 Pound Loss!
Total loss to date: 5.2 pounds.
I'm very satisfied with that.
Tomorrow (and tonight) is the Bloomington Open Racquetball tournament at the main gym. I'm still a lonnnnnng way off from actually playing anybody on the court. So it's going to be the other gym for tomorrow. Not sure if it will be treadmill again, some other machine, or weights. I'd like to get a pair of hand wraps, so I could try the punching bags. They've got gloves available, so I don't have to worry about purchasing them. But I would need hand wraps.
Also, I've got to start thinking about catching up my fishing journal. Spring will be here before I know it, and I need to get it up to date.
