Yes, I'm in Iceland, XDDD!! But the name is truly misguiding. Well, there's been ice on the streets for a few weeks, that's true, and it has snowed a couple of times, but right now the sun is shining and the roads are clean. Actually, the average temperature here is 3ºC, I'd say, at least since I'm here (one month). I'm in Reykjavík, though, which is particularly sheltered; in the north it's another different song.

And how can a city function if the roads aren't cleared?? Well, I suppose it could be worse, you could live in Canada...

How did I get into this situation? Yuri thought, not for the first time, as Kaede rambled on and on. Not that he wasn't interested in what the young girl had to say, it was just that he wasn't used to be chosen as a listener. Yuri knew he didn't project an aproachable air, he actually took a certain amount of pain to make sure that was the case, but Kaede had seemed totally immune to his aloofness and condescending smiles

Oh, this is just squeefully awesome! Because yes, at this point the only kind of friend Yuri probably could cope with is one who'd come across as being independent, the way he is: someone he'd be traveling beside rather than actively helping or being helped by; someone who'd naturally fill the silence between them. I'd never thought about their similarities in terms of having been let down by the grown-ups in their lives, but that's certainly something that would matter to Yuri. And his priorities could probably stand some messing with. (*cough*Lunatic*cough*)

Hakkai considered himself a patient man. Especially after his time with Sanzo in the temple. He wanted to do things right this time and experience had showed that he tended to overreact when he let his emotions run free, so he had become especially adept at keeping them reigned. And smiling.
