We watched "Stranger Than Fiction" last night with Will Ferrell, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Emma Thompson & Dustin Hoffman.  It was really smart-funny and subtle-hilarious.  It looked good too although, maybe the use of obvious environmental differences to show that characters  "live in different worlds" is becoming a bit overused.  Has anyone else seen ( Read more... )

Watched "Bon Cop Bad Cop" and "Little Miss Sunshine" on the weekend. Both were kickass as promised by friends. Work is going alright, too many people hauling me in too many directions today. Watched "An Inconvenient Truth" last night. It's very scary. And hopeful. My fear is only that not everyone will watch this movie and an even greater fear is that not the right people will watch this movie.

So last night we got to work and there was a note for me to take all of the winter boots off the front ends of the shelves and put out slippers everywhere.  They said there's no snow and no forecast of snow but it's cold so people want to buy slippers, not boots.  So I worked all night making changes doing my regular work and then in the morning ( Read more... )
