Yesterday the window was Christmassy - Santa's legs sticking out of the chimney.

Work yesterday was quiet and I did a short day. I got a lot done as well with few other people around.

Window 22 was a toy boat.

Today we wrapped presents and I finished the Christmas cake. bateleur braved Tescos for the Last Shop Before Christmas (we hope). Reeve slept (mostly).

I still have things to do before Friday. Finishing the Christmas cake, some more work (my last day is Christmas Eve but, with luck, short and quiet). More importantly - some more Wednesday gaming. However, nearly there.

The window today was a birdhouse... again.

I've made a chocolate cake for bateleur's birthday. It's always a slightly fragile cake (it works on egg whites), but worthwhile. And bateleur has interesting (other) food plans for dinner.

Today's window was a woodpecker.

My online Monster Hunter group met for the last time this year (OK, as one of them said, there's only a week and a half left...). But we advanced the story line and there were some satisfying captures.

Today's window was a mouse.

Yesterday was the team quiz. My team had an appalling start, but eventually recovered a little. We were much better at the films round than the news round. One of my team mates does well in quiz rounds about goats (which says a lot about some of the work quiz themes) but we didn't get one of them.

Today's window was a fern in a jug.

At some point I'll write about IT fails of the last two days. Top of the list (with stiff competition) was discovering my password didn't work yesterday morning. The helpdesk insisted I had to be typing it in wrong, instead it turned out that IT had changed it when configuring my new laptop. I wasn't pleased.

Today's window was a pair of chickens.

It's been a rather dark day and things are still very busy at work.

Yesterday's window was a garden gnome.

Also I watched the end of Lucifer season 3. It's definitely got better as it's gone along, but the last two episodes felt out of place (deliberately I assume).
