Alternate Reflections

Aug 21, 2011 19:58

Who: Chang and Kirk
Where: Level Five Common room.
When: Last day
Warnings: (if necessary) Violence leading to character death.

Kirk was a threat, not because he was from the alternate universe (the fact that history had repeated itself amused Chang more than anything else), but because he was highly visible. He knew the scheming of the wardens, he was a schemer too, as were a few of his fellow inmates.

Kirk had responded with the ridiculous notion that he could withstand torture. Chang did not share his confidence. It's impossible to be completely immune to torture in the first place. Even the machine known as T-X would have inputs that it would consider disruptive, the mechanical version of torture, Rinzler was proof of that. No, with matters such as their imminent escape, the inmates couldn't afford to have leaks.

Kirk had to be silenced.
