A lot to think about.

So, on Friday, I decided to go home for the weekend. Thankfully, Nicole gave me a ride home, got home, took a nap, and basically unwound for the day. Saturday, did some needed stuff, like get my haircut and get my London pics developed, then went to a party for some people from church, which was fun. Lots of good food, as always. Sunday, while my other family members were teaching, I went into a hall in an attempt to do homework. The school building looks completely destroyed, as it is in it's in-between stages of renovation. And of course, I didn't do a lot of work as I spent a lot of time talking to Amanda Caroe, my awesome friend, about stuff, which we will get back to. Mass was packed--it was the last day of the novena for Sintia, so a lot of people were there. It was sad, but it looks like the family is keeping strong. After mass, we went with my godmother for lunch, then I came back home, got ready, and got taken back to campus, where I tried to accomplish too much at once, effectively missing fashion show practice.

Today was a kind of blah day, but there were still highlights. I went to Lit Methods and Hinduism, but then decided that I was not feeling like going to French at all, so I didn't. I went to lunch sooner than usual, then decided to clean up my dorm room to some music. It's not done yet, but I felt accomplished and better. Then, I had an interview for a job with Academic Affairs, which I may or may not take, considering my current involvement in activities. After that came basically dinner, work (boring training which I struggled to stay awake through, but I got a good pledge), and then...

...the Alpha Sig closed smoker. Some of you may know that I am currently going through fraternity recruitment. Coming to college, joining a fraternity was definitely the last thing I wanted to do. But after going to a couple of open events, I discovered that, especially with Alpha Sigma Phi, there is a lot of good that can come from being in one, and it really is not all bad. I'm glad that I am going through recruitment now, just because I have a more informed opinion on Greek life. So, yeah, I was invited to the closed smoker for AlphaSig, and it was kind of awkward, but I am warming up more to the idea of joining. Still not sure if I will necessarily pledge if I get a bid this semester, because there is still a lot to think about. We shall see what happens at bid night then...

Yeah, I just had to put all of that out there. I have been feeling a bit stressed, and fraternity recruitment has been on my mind a lot, but it helps to ease it off. But, I trust that things will fall into place in their own due time. =)

And I want it to snow. A lot.

That is all. Good night, and God bless!
