The Calgary Salvation Army is banning 'black magic' toys like Harry Potter and Twilight. They refuse to give those sorts of toys out to the various families in need of some help this Christmas.

Not only is everyone strapped for cash, but here, in Ottawa, there's an OcTranspo bus strike. That means, no public buses. No way to get anywhere, in any fashion, unless you own a car (and even then, the traffic is murder.)
