By the Gods, this Halloween was pitiful! Hardly anyone in our neighbourhood gave out any candy! And those few that did didn't even bother to decorate their house. Honestly, where did the Halloween spirit go? And we didn't get a lot of kids, either. And that's a shock considering that there's three schools in the area.

Oh man, Toronto Maple Leaf fans can't be happy tonight! My Ottawa Senators beat them 8-0 at the Leafs own stadium! Eight to nothing! The boo-ing of the crowd could be heard over the TV broadcast.
