First I wanted to say thank you to everyone yesterday for their words of condolences. I know I know, big bad lasciviae will kick someone in the face in a heart beat, but have a wittle kitty die and she's a sobbing mess. Go figure :(
So who else is absolutely excited about LIVE 8? The crowds have me a bit apprehensive, as I am claustrophobic, agoraphobic, and down right bitchy, but on the upside it appears that the weather will be beyond co-operating, as we are in the middle of a humid heat wave, again, and it's supposed to be broken tonight. For Philadelphia, the performers include:

There are only a few that I have interest in seeing though to be honest, Alcicia, BEP, Bon jovi, Jay-Z, Sarah,Josh and Stevie (but only if he does his old shit, not anything made in the 80's). 50 cents was supposed to preform too, but he bitched out, though I would so much rather be in London and see Floyd play, one of the best shows I have ever seen in my life was Floyd.
Things of Live 8 that are of importance:
Every single day, 30,000 children die, needlessly, of extreme poverty. This figure is alarming, and in these days of "industrail and technological" advancement, it's down right shameful.
Why is Live 8 so important?:
8 world leaders, gathered in Scotland for the G8 summit, will be presented with a workable plan to double aid, drop the debt and make the trade laws fair. If these 8 men agree, then we will become the generation that made poverty history.But they'll only do it if enough people tell them to!
Now, I know it's impossible for everyone to attend as numbers of the people speak louder than any politican, and I am only able to go as I am smacked dabbed in the center of one of the locations, but at the very least, make sure you go to this site and sign the petition!

My city this weekend is absolutely chaotic at the moment, there is so many events planned that are all beginning tonight, from Live 8, to on the 4th elton John playing on the parkway too (with pattie labelle, but no one cares about her), Literally every hotel room in the city and the outskirts have been filled, and so much cash is being poured in. Makes me wish I was working it, though at the same time if I end up starting this week, at least I can enjoy all of the festivities. Am going to take the digi, and depending where I manage to get situated at (being that's festivle seating)will do my best to get shots. Was only here on my flist at live aid? I was, it was a mob scene then too, D swore he would never expose to something like that again.
OMG< WTF BBQ ON THE 4TH!!!!!!! SANDRA DAY O'CONNOR RESIGNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This is bad, so very very very very very very very bad! That makes two that the whackjob gimp leader of ours can now replace to fullfill his agenda.....for life *slamslamslamslamslamslamslamslamslam*
