-I've determined that as much as I love him, Lord Alfred Tennyson is definitely not good for my soundness of mind. Or maybe it's the being up at three in the morning writing an essay instead of doing it at a civilized hour that isn't good for my soundness of mind, but it's more fun to blame Tennyson.

Canada's members of parliament are going back to work this week andt the first issue they plan to discuss is how to keep the Prime Minister from proroguing parliament on a whim again. Yay! I'm a bit peeved that the massive turnout at the anti-prorogation rallies didn't persuade them to make this happen a little sooner, but still, yay ( Read more... )
