Excellent news and possible madness
Canada's members of parliament are going back to work this week andt the first issue they plan to discuss is how to keep the Prime Minister from proroguing parliament on a whim again. Yay! I'm a bit peeved that the massive turnout at the anti-prorogation rallies didn't persuade them to make this happen a little sooner, but still, yay!
In other news, I'm might be going a little mad, thanks again to one Lord Alfred Tennyson. I'm writing an essay about his treatment of female sexual agency in The Lady of Shalott. It's actually a lot of fun, even if it's making me see sexual references in everything Tennyson writes.
