I've been working at a day camp -chasing five-year-old girls around and making sure they're happy- for the past month and have been surprised at how fascinating the five-year-olds find me. I suppose that I'm older and an authority figure, but still fun and not quite an adult yet, so they must learn everything they can about me. I've been asked what my favourite colour is at least ten times... and this is a serious issue. Every time I'm asked for my favourite colour, at least three other girls turn to stare at me because they really do want to know. It's rather touching. Nobody asks about people's favourite colours anymore, but when you're five, it's a very big deal.
So, now I want to know... LJ flist, what's your favourite colour? Mine is purple.
In other news, my mom and I went out to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince tonight, but when we got to the theater, all the tickets had been sold. So, we saw Bruno instead.
I'd recommend Bruno. Yes, it's over the top and revolting at times, but also very funny, thought provoking and even frightening in parts.
Sacha Baron Cohen is a very intelligent man.
