“What does this do again?” the pretty blonde asked, pointing uneasily at the object swimming in the cloudy jar. Fred smiled to himself as he watched George begin describing the plimpy’s “good” qualities. There weren’t many but George seemed intent on keeping the girl in the store for as long as possible.
Fred nearly choked on his jam-spread scone as the dense female seemed to be buying the blarney his twin was spreading just as thick. When did a plimpy make a good pet? To the girl’s credit, her posture still indicated that she didn’t completely trust the lying twin.
