Pimpage for 30_hath
I thought I might pimp a community here in my journal that I write for quite a bit. Okay, I did in February but you know that I haven't written much the past several months. I'm ready to go once again but wanted to tug some of you along with me.
30_hath is a unique writing community. You can write any pairing you want with any word count (okay, I think it's between 100 and 1000) but you can only write using that certain day. That sounds sort of confusing but let me spell it out. For instance, tomorrow's (May 9) prompt is she wanted to trust in him and you can only post drabbles using that prompt. Not the 10th or the 8th. If you miss the day, you miss out. That's really the only rule. I've done my share of stretching the prompt and have never been given a hard time for it.
Why am I asking you this? Mainly because there are teams and the Hufflepuffs, quite frankly, need some help. Since I've been writing there, there have only been two of us writing for that particular house and we beat everyone in February but I don't think either of us are up for writing that much for a very long time. A lot of you on my flist are Huffs so I thought I'd entice you over to the community.
The other great thing about the community is that you get a prize for writing the most drabbles in a given month but also for commenting/reading. Now, you know that I've done my share of grousing about some of the comments but it does feel really good to get so much feedback (normally around the end of the month when everyone just starts on the 1st and starts reading but still...).
If you're up for it, go check out the info for the community (that's where you'll find the prompts) and see if it's something you might be interested in. And just so you know, I in no way run the community. I only know the mod from around the fandom and I swear I'm not getting any kind of kick back for this advertisement. Only the satisfaction of reading your drabbles!
