You can never have too much SGA
Aster has been pushing me to work on sgoc stories this weekend (which I didn't because I was lazy like that), trying to help me come up with some ideas. I'm sort of stuck on some of them... and I was just being lazy. *grins*
I decided to put "Vegas" in the DVD player tonight to see if it helped and just finished my first showing when I got an idea and I wonder if this storyline has been done yet... what if "Vegas" and "Enemy at the Gate" were more closely related than just being the last two episodes of the show? Atlantis could have gone through that same rift that AU!Rodney talked about and they're in the same universe as "Vegas" so that they can be there to help save the world from the Wraith that are most likely coming. I like the idea of AU!John surviving his ordeal and that could still happen. Mostly, I just like to think of them coming to earth as being important and not just a throw away episode. What if it's an Earth that needs help!?!?!?!!
So, is there a fic out there like that? I need to check out AO3 again. I haven't found nearly enough Vegas fic for my liking.
EDIT: Okay, it's highly unlikely that they're in a alternate universe. Stupid SGC helping them out. But I think I'll try to find a way to make it work. There's got to be a flaw in the logic of it all that I can use. Hmmm... a challenge.
