Oh America. You've let me down terribly.
First off, almost as many people voted in the American Idol final as voted in the presidential election. Second, THEY VOTED FOR THE WRONG PERSON!!
Damn you people for getting me into this and then breaking my heart.
Let me also just say that I have only ever watched 2 episodes of AI: one last night and one tonight. I will very likely not be repeating the experience.

Not that I don't like Kris. He's ok. He's just kinda...meh. to me. Thus I think it goes without saying that I'm firmly in the Adam camp.
And honestly? Kris is the safe choice. He's not threatening. Adam is dynamic, flamboyant and overtly sexual. Even if he wasn't gay, that kind of blatant sexuality of any leaning makes people uncomfortable. That doesn't mean my jaw didn't hit the floor though when he didn't win.
