A quickie
My grandparents and two of my aunts and uncles were nearly evacuated yesterday. They ended up staying (Mom said Grandma wanted to watch the fire), and the bushes that litter the hill leading up to their house are actually pretty flame-retardant, but the fire was basically stopped at the base of the hill and all is well. Jane and Eric apparently got to play Fire Fighter as their neighbor is a fire chief and he showed them how to use the hose and everything.
And today we're pouring molds! Hurra.
I need to get some flashing for next week as I have a little model of Malcach that I'm going to try and get finish and then make a mold and pour, because it'll amuse me and I could totally see doing thirty of them and having them scattered around campus.
