Also, just heard that a virulent outbreak of distemper has hit my town, so all outside cats not vaccinated are in danger. It has been bizarrely stressful and crazy for the past three months, mostly at work. And it all came home this week. I am not in a good way and I can't shake it. Rather dangerously depressed, which I realize now has been coming on for a couple days and probably accounts for my excessive anxiety about a certain very tough and self-reliant kittycat. I am watching Giuliani's 9/11 for the second time tonight. Why? I don't know. I can't look away. I just stare at the footage, feeling my stomach turn. My psychological pathology defies logic. :/
