Yes, Washington is a pile of spaghetti indeed. This government shut down business...yeah, our nation is a mess. And I'll admit to not being entirely up on news or knowing exactly what's going on, but it's just madness. I really don't understand how we've had a deficit for years, and it's just now that people are complaining about it. All that spending on multiple wars by Bush and continued by Obama, and no one was up in arms about it. But spending on actual needed government services? Oh no, that must be cut. I mean being fiscally responsible is important, but how about we actually think about what's important and what is wasteful in the budget? Too easy, I guess. I wonder if it will take a government shutdown for the hyper-libertarians to realize how much we all, let alone government employees, depend on the government.
