next Monday can't come quickly enough

Three Four things:

(1) Oh God. Curtis. They were building up to something that I was praying wouldn't end in bloodshed, as I like Curtis, and I wasn't ready for Assad to go just yet as he is such an interesting character in that he adds to this new Other perspective they're giving us on things this season - (Curtis explained it best when he questioned Jack's use of the word we). Anyway, what an upsetting scene. As I said last night, "Poor Jack." doesn't quite cover it. Also, I feel like Assad owes Jack big time now, but I wonder if he will see it that way. (I am so endlessly fascinated by their interaction.)

(2) I can't believe they actually detonated the bomb. HOLY SHIT.

(3) Alexander Siddig is so fine. Scott's getting the DS9 seasons for me. Huzzah!

ETA: (4) I am really not used to seeing Peter MacNicol in such a subdued role. He seems to be doing a good job at being the pushy and underhanded government guy so far; it's just that I expect him to snap out of it at any minute, start walking around without socks or shoes, and request a monochromatic meal. This Tom character is so disorienting.

Scott taped it and I fast-forwarded through a lot, so I just have a few comments.

(1) Hugh! His acceptance speeches are always so great. I loved this to bits:
"I know everyone says that they have a wonderful crew, and logically that can't be the case. Somewhere somebody is working with a crew of drunken thieves."
I also loved when he said he wanted to thank Robert Sean Leonard but he couldn't remember why. Hee.

(2) I loved that they had the Heroes cast present an award. They all looked so lovely.

(3) I don't even watch Ugly Betty and America Ferrera had me tearing up over here. What a sweetheart.

(4) I think I've said this before, but I really want to see The Last King of Scotland. Man.

(5) SBC won Best Actor in a Comedy/Musical. He looked gorgeous, and his speech was hilarious. Wawaweewa!
