DARLINGS AND DILEMMAS
Wonderful weekend things despite.... Two nights of champange and celebration.
FRIDAY NIGHT
was Nicky's intimate birthday celebration @Immy's
I revised with Sara @the Starbucks
in Tiff's office building, then went to Immy's around 830, picking Sean up along the way
Good music, lovely people, champagne
Were soon joined by Luke and Ritz, then finally Martin who was a bit up the street with a phone that had run out of battery
Who knew that this nice atmosphere would descend into chaos given the Chivas Luke brought and my willingness to get into the pool
Had a good time hanging about; later went upstairs to strip down to my undies and join everyone in the pool
Whisky after, we were paired off
and I was kissing in the pool and later lying down on the grass, deluded by alcohol-induced contentment and the fairy lights
Still clad in very few clothes, I danced around
which is possibly when I cut my heel on broken glass in the grass
At some point I was on the couch still making out... then all of a sudden with two people instead of just one
I think I had been drunk texting Shohei the entire night and might've mentioned where I was
unaware that he would turn up sometime near 330 or 4
When he came we put Em and Sean into cabs, Ritz and Luke left and Nicky had left a while earlier
We hung about, got in the pool once again, and lay on the grassy hill
Went home a bit past 5 and slunk off to sleep.
1. Clothed and sober, stark contrast to our state a few hours+Chivas later
2. Everyone with champagne in hand at the start of the night
3. I only have 3photos of that night, if that can be an indicator of how epic it was.
SATURDAY MORNING REALISATIONS
4. Yuck, remanants of something I'd rather forget
5. Sliced heel
Nearly didn't go to ELT
but dragged myself out 10minutes later around 905 thinking
that I should. Though still not completely sober
I was in pretty good condition though the foot hurt alot more
and I was unable to walk properly. The supposed heaven-sent grass had caused a rash and bites all over my back
Called Rei and he brought stuff in to patch up my foot... which he did quite nicely
After ELT, we went to the hawkers for some eats
and had another awful discussion about being together which I rejected outright the entire time
SATURDAY NIGHT
6. Everyone dressed so nicely, about to sit down for dinner while Nicky and I left
7. New nail polish is too orange-red for my liking.... More champagne - am trying to force myself to like it.
As much as I really adore Katherine
(and feel sad about our recent drift apart), I felt out of place @her birthday thing
Luckily Nicky was there, and we left after an hour and a bit
Went to Immy's
and upon arrival found that Luke and Ritz would be there shortly after - right as we went in through her back gate they were getting out of the taxi
After I took off my pink Topshop dress and got comfy in some of Immy's clothes
we sat around with white wine and gummies
Got to know Ritz a bit better, didn't find either of our impressions of each other particularly pleasant given my state the night prior
but that was rectified I think
All of us hung about the pool talking
and then headed to Crystal Jade @Holland Village for food
I was hungry but didn't feel like eating the food there though it was fun and funny with Luke perhaps being a bit too ridiculous
Afterwards Immy and Chris headed home; Luke and Ritz waited with me for a cab and I was home around 130am
THIS MORNING
1. Perfect white pancakes, I don't like them so done
2. Like a breakfast buffet but @home... great condiment selection

Just got back from fortnight-ly family dinner
Was glancing around and caught sight of Sean who was there with his family sans his mom
What a bizarre coincidence it was! Even moreso because he had chosen to go to Dempsey's Margarita's too
the way I had chosen it for this week's dinner.
