News apparently travels fast in the 3rd world, because I just learned of Vonnegut's passing from a tribute Madeleine wrote in her journal. She credited me with introducing her to Vonnegut, after I raved about hearing him speak my sophomore year at Syracuse. I wrote an 11th grade term paper on God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater.
