Jeff: Because I adopted a boy cat and called it a girl for a month?
Yes, Agrippina has come out to us. As a boy. We had been a little suspicious of a mound-like thing, but I poked and prodded her and pronounced her a girl. This weekend, it was undeniable that the alleged pubic mound now has two distinct sacs.
The vet didn't really look at her down there, so we think he just went with our girl pronoun for her. We got her from the pound as a girl with a pink collar (boys have blue ID collars).
Jeff has already started calling her boy-ish names. I still refer to her as she, as you might have noticed.
Is there a support group for this?
