Well, I took the car in early this morning to get the bottom power washed and for them to run a diagnostic and a dye test. Come to find out that in 4 days I went through 3 quarts of oil. I was down 2 but I had refilled the car last night. CRAZY. They deemed the car unsafe to drive. They are concerned that the oil may have injured the timing belt ( Read more... )

So I went to the doctor in October to do my A1C labwork. Because my doctor's office requires appointments to go over labwork instead of just doing it over the phone or the internet, I was required to go in for my doc to go over it. I got the bill the other day for this visit. This will be the 3rd bill. Now, without my insurance paying for anything ( Read more... )

We got up this morning and headed out to Portland Nursery. We walked around and picked up some new fancy cat grass for Honey Boy, some june-bearing Ranier Strawberries, lettuce and Japanese Maple food. So, on a hope and a prayer, I called Extreme Auto based out of Clackamas that was a mobile mechanic. It looked like it was going to be A LOT cheaper than having it done at my old mechanic, who I wasn't all that thrilled with to begin with, but it's nice because it's close to the house ( Read more... )
