OMG if this happens I may just drop dead of sheer joy. This is one of my all time favorite characters! *squeeeeeee*
So, that's my happy for today.
Actually, there's a couple happies. One of them is not an assignment I received for an exchange as NONE of the pairings I listed I could write were assigned to me. Like absolutely none. There is one I've never written but think I can pull off. GAH Most aren't even characters I write as anything more than pop-ins. GAH First time ever I've thought about defaulting.
I did get off 12100 words of my TW BB in rough draft form to the mods. Now I can finish up my Derek/Stiles BB which is due in final form in about ten days. GAH
Everyone assumed the Royals were doomed against the best left handed pitcher in the AL. He'd given up two extra base hits all season.
We knocked him for two homers, five runs total. :)
Aoki set the Royals record for most hits in a three game series--11 of 13 I think in the end, plus he had at least one walk, maybe two. Good time to get hot! Most impressive, we played a really good defensive game. We've been struggling with errors the last three weeks or so. We did have one last night but it didn't stand out. And Detroit lost so we're 1/2 game back and got the big MO going into the series with them on Friday.
KSU v Auburn football in a top twenty five match up tonight. I hope to write (yeah yeah).
In cautious happy news, after the couple of accidents after getting home last night and only eating a couple pieces of toast for dinner, I didn't have any more. I was up a couple times in the night but it's firming up some. Ditto this morning. God, please...
I've definitely figured out the leak. The tiles right along the edge of the bathtub on the window wall are spongy and loose. Need to get those replaced I guess. Right now I'm just carefully about not aiming the water at them. I think when I get that done I'll have them replace the really gross sink, too--it's got this ingrained moldy, rusty shit in the porcelain and the stopper is long gone. Of course where the money's going to come from to pay for that... Well, they are both nearly 45 years old.
Well, boss is much better today so apparently I didn't give him the stomach flu. He figures it was something he ate. He has diverticulitis and foods can trigger vomiting. Good. My parents are fine, too. Let's just hope I'm fine.
Need to finish last week's fullmoon ficlet that got halted when I got sick as well as write this week's for which I have an idea. I also need to get off my ass on these bingo cards. One is due at the end of the month and is obviously not going to be a full card so I need to figure out just which prompts I want to use to make a couple lines at least. The other is due at the end of the year.
The damn dry itchy patch on my elbow is back. I thought it was a winter thing but obviously not. Body is weird.
