brrrr again
Well I was able to watch pretty much everything I wanted to yesterday through live streaming or replays. :) Yay, Julie Mancuso!
Today, though, I'm taping all the live coverage and will zoom through it at home, and when I'm able to do this (pretty much every day since I have next Monday off work and that's my busy tv night) I'll just stream live qualifying rounds and events that are going to be shown only on the prime time show--that way I can see EVERY dude hitting the half pipe and not just the final round six or whatever NBC deigns to show us.
KU sucked and lost at KSU, though we tied it at half time and then never got more than nine points behind in the second half. It was just a lackluster effort until the last minute where there was a gorgeous run in and dunk by Greene followed by an immediate double team on the inbounds, steal, and dunk by Greene again. We ended up in OT where we lost by three (would have been six except for a buzzer three). *sigh* No one played well consistently.
Oh, and then their fans oh so classily stormed the floor.
KU fans do not storm the floor. One time they tried several years ago the few who made it go severely booed and scorned for doing so. When you're expected to win (and you've only lost around six games at home in ten years) you don't storm the court.
But, on the other hand, since 1990, this was only the sixth time KSU has beaten us. We've won like fifty two times. *snort*
Anyway, I didn't get home until 11:00 and immediately watched Teen Wolf and OMG love it but can Sheriff get a frickin' name???? No Peter again but he's in next week.
I could have sworn that I saw somewhere official that Scott's dad was named Kyle but apparently it is Rafael. Well, I'm not changing it in my series. *sigh* I'd say it was a weird combo of Hispanic and Scottish for a white man but the star of the first Darkover book was Rafael MacAran.
Damn, getting a lot of buffering today. :P
Still really cold today but now projected sixty on Saturday, then upper fifties, then low sixties again by the end of next week! Oh, please let winter be over!
I discovered that my shower didn't drain on Sunday. It's been slow for the last couple weeks. A whole jug of drano max did nothing. Now I'm going to have snake it out but I'm hoping to get it drained before I do that because the standing water is cold. I had to take a shower in the front bath which is a bathtub with a telephone hand held shower, no curtain or anything. I use it only for shaving my legs, so that was fun, trying not to spray water everywhere.
Boy our curling teams suck this year. I'm watching that until the men's snowboard final. Then I might do some actual work or, y'know, porn, because porn battle ends in a couple days.
I got sparkly bright blue nails. I wanted dark purple but figured if we lost to KSU dad would blame my fingernails. We lost anyway. *rolls eyes*
